Faith Celebrations at American Martyrs
What is a Faith Celebration?
American Martyrs Church supports every child in their faith formation for each year of study, in SRE or AMS. Sacraments are our celebrations for our second year students. But what about the other years?
Faith celebrations are a way to mark and celebrate each year of a child’s religious education. Students attending AMS or SRE and their parents come to the church at a particular Mass
Are they mandatory?
The church community is setting aside this time to bless you and your children. The intention of these celebrations is to bless you, not to stress you! How important is it to you? Look at the dates below. Mark the ones that apply to your family. We realize things come up that prevent you from coming. We will be praying for all our children at this time with God.
First Grade Our Father Celebration
Second Grade See Sacrament Sheet
Third Grade We are the Church
Fourth Grade Celebrating God’s Law
Fifth Grade Celebrating our Baptism
Sixth Grade Bible Celebration
Seventh Grade Field Day
Eighth Grade Day Away (School Day)
Use the day to spend time with your child, perhaps breakfast after or a special dinner before (or breakfast with your 8th grader). Whatever you decide, know that your family is loved in this community!
