Seating for First Communion
In order to provide you with the opportunity to celebrate in the church, there will be two First Communion Liturgies on May 11, 2024.
Families will be assigned by the child's last name, and details will be provided at the First Penance Workshop on Nov 8, 2023

Seating for First Communion Liturgies
First Communicants and parents will be seated in the center front pews of the church. There will be 2 adults allowed for each child, with 3 First Communicants per pew, for a total of 9 people per pew. Godparrents, Grandparents, siblings will be sitting at the open seating outside this area, which we call the "First Communion Zone".
Reception of First Holy Communion
Parents are invited to accompany their children into the sanctuary for reception of First Holy Communion. At the time of reception, parents are the witness to the child's readiness to receive, and indicate this by placing their right hand on the shoulder of the child.

Photography
There is NO PHOTOGRAPHY permitted during the First Communion Mass.
This is a tradition at every sacrament and we appreciate your cooperation. The liturgies will be Livestreamed for families and friends to celebrate with you. WANT Photography will take photos of your family receiving Holy Communion and these will be available for purchase.
